Case Logbook docs

Your account

In short. Your name, title and specialty live in Settings → Account. Sessions are limited under Settings → Security → Max active sessions. Changing your email or closing your account is done by asking us.

Name and what the app calls you

The app addresses you the way colleagues in your country would: Dr Asha in India, Mr Rao in the UK. If that default doesn’t sound like you, fill in How should we address you? on Settings → Account. Whatever you write there is used, word for word, everywhere the app addresses you. Your display name and specialty are on the same page, and your country and hospitals sit beside them.

Formal documents are different: the credentialing logbook and case summary always carry your full name. See Exports.

The gender question

Gender on Settings → Account is optional. It is used only to address you correctly, Mr or Ms in the UK. Everywhere else the title is Dr, so you can leave it blank. If you are a UK surgeon and haven’t set it, the app shows your name without a title rather than guess. It is never shown to anyone else, including colleagues you invite.

Changing your email

There is no self-service email change. Ask us with your old and new addresses and we will move your account. How to reach us is in Getting help.

Max active sessions

Settings → Security → Max active sessions limits how many devices can be signed in at once, to 1, 2 or 3. When a new sign-in goes over the limit, the oldest session is signed out. To sign every device out at once, use Sign out all devices on the same page.

Closing your account

Ask us to close it, as with an email change. Closing includes a wipe of your case data, so export what you need first. See Exports and Getting help.
