Why we ask you to verify
Case Logbook is for surgeons only. We make that promise to everyone who uses it, so we ask each surgeon, once, for something that shows they are one.
When we ask
After you have logged 10 cases in the app, or two weeks after you joined, whichever comes first. You get one email, and a quiet grey note on the Cases page. You can dismiss the note for a week; it comes back until you have sent a document.
What to send
One of these, as a photo or a PDF up to 10 MB:
- your hospital ID card
- your degree or fellowship certificate
- a letter from your head of department (residents, this is the one for you)
- a letter from your hospital, signed and stamped
Who sees it
Only the Case Logbook team. The file is kept privately, and nobody else can open it.
What we keep
Once we have checked it, we delete the file. We keep only the outcome, the kind of document and the date. If we cannot use it, we tell you why and you can send another.
Does anything stop working?
No. Logging, search, photos, insights and export work the same whether you have verified or not, now and afterwards.
What it is for
A founding seat is completed by verification, and a paid plan needs it. See Plans and payment. Questions go to [email protected].
